Stories and notes of appreciation from our customers and people we help

Just to let you know that today Lynette collected the wheelchair for a client of the Chris Ruth Centre, who seemed to me to be suitably deserving.  It was a very hard decision to make, even with only 3 possibilities. I have emailed the good people from Muscular Dystrophy and Cerebral Palsy to let them know it's no longer available.Thank you very much for your help and support.

 Sincerely, Anna.

Hi Shannon,

the residents very much enjoyed your presentation, good comments were made and the merino socks are a great hit.  Your product knowledge was great and the time you took to answer questions was appreciated.

Well presented by enthusiastic lady. Thank you so much for a great presentation. Presentation was fantastic, lots of wonderful ideas – hope she can come up again. Wonderful array of useful equipment which we could try, as a left handed diabetic. A lovely presenter. Very helpful and the information was terrific.

To Whom it may concern

Early in October the Mid Canterbury Ladies Probus Club had as their main speaker Richard Blakeborough from Aspire Canterbury, he was accompanied by Mark Thiele.

Members thoroughly enjoyed the presentation by Richard, he was entertaining but at the same time he told us of the many products that are available from Aspire Canterbury.   Not many of our members had heard of this service before so were very interested to hear of the many products that are available.   We were told of the air cycle, opener device, telescopic duster, pashminas, folding walking stick, sock putter-on, wheat bags and so on.     Richard demonstrated many of these products and how they are to be used, and of course showed us the comfort socks.    Richard is an excellent salesman, with a great way of telling the message, but also showed a knowledge of the products.  As well he told us a little of the organisation and that it is non-profit.

Just a wee note to thank you again for your help – so valuable when an oldie like me (87 a few days ago!) is losing her weakening spare parts!!! Best and grateful regards – Therese

Thank you so much for your input into getting the taxi vouchers for me. It will make life so much easier for appointments when unwell. Thank you.
