The Total Mobility Scheme

The Total Mobility Scheme assists eligible people with long term impairments to access transport to assist with their daily needs and enhance community participation. We are proud to be a Total Mobility Scheme Provider.

How it works

The scheme provides 75% discounted taxi fares to eligible people up to a maximum fare of $70 per trip in the greater Christchurch area.

As a national scheme, it is currently funded jointly by regional councils and central government.

In order to access the scheme you will need to undergo an assessment to see if you are eligible. We have an approved assessor at Aspire who can help you through the process.
